Recreational Trail Project

Starting in 2025, ZMS received a $90,450 grant from the New Mexico Economic Development Department - Outdoor Recreational Trails Division, to establish a hiking & biking trail. Our deadline for this project is December 31, 2026 - but we will have most of the work done by fall equinox. We will be moving forward as soon as possible with volunteer opportunities, and several paid work opportunities for locals. We need help with labor, cooking for volunteers, and many more options.
