What's up at ZMS

Hooray, all the steward and steward want-a-bees have survived the winter. Derek and I were initiated(inducted, inaugurated, enthroned?) as stewards in February and Balance and Raif were incarcerated in April. And of course the ever gracious Maqui and Eden still hold sway.

We had a pretty dry winter with very few visitors(You all are welcome to come anytime, we do have some indoor space and we have improved the road(contrary to popular belief our road is not a car-eating mucky mire)). Cassandra visited in January and was disappointed with our mild weather as he was looking for a nice cold place.

Other than a few outbreaks of cabin fever(with minimal hair pulling and eye-scratching), we all got along very well. We dreamed of our wonderful Garden of the Soul and plans for a new bathhouse(Yippee, Hooray, Vunderballs!!!!).

Funds were pretty dry too so busting our little faerie butts we all created a studio full of wondrous doodads and off we went to Tucson. Balance, Derek, Eden, Raif and I had a great time but alas we only broke even.

Spring brought more visitors and more funds. Although our 2 shows after Tucson in Albuquerque were in the hole or barely broke even we are doing ok for basic expenses.

We have started the garden and hope to start on the bathhouse(including a sauna!) this summer. If you all would like to contribute to our building fund for the new bathhouse. Garden of the Soul, or any reason that tickles your fancy, feel free to drop us a wad.
