Zuni as a Power Place

Hello Boys!!!,

Just wanted to drop a note to keep in touch.; The Summer Solstice gathering was so much fun and very empowering for me, and I just wanted to let you know that. Thanks for offering the space and energy where so much magic unfolds.

Amazing that in just two short weeks I came to feel so at home at Zuni, when for 6 months in Albuquerque I never quite settled in (the desert, I said to myself, I'm just not a desert person). I remember arriving back at Zuni from the Rainbow Gathering in July, seeing Oso Notch in the dim light and feeling shivers through my bones, then a warm flush in my eyes and a smile stretch across my face. In a time when everything is being uprooted -- the trees, the soil, creatures, our very souls ripped from our bodies -- it's a rare gift to find a place where we can sink deep (even if it is a "home away from home").

Maybe a geomancer would say that Zuni is a power place, where ley lines intersect and energy is released. It is undoubtedly that without human beings there on the land, but it is you Stewards who magnify that power through the blessings you offer the rest of us as brothers and sisters, and the blessings you offer the land and our fellow creatures.
