Zuni Mountain Sanctuary Builder's Guild

Mission Statement (Outline):
The creation of a support group of faeries, including stewards of the land, and those interested from the larger community, dedicated to the development of a coherent design and building construction process. The parameters of scope include long term planning, permaculture, infrastructure, building design and phasing of projects. The emphasis of the group is to provide ongoing physical and financial support for the construction of individual projects.
Intention: to foster and focus energy toward appropriate growth of the ZMS physical plant, creating a framework to allow individuals to engage their energies with others in bringing this growth about.
Organizational Structure: the group consists of two parts- design and construction. Members may participate on a number of levels, and are encouraged to be directly involved in specific projects. Communication among members is encouraged through the E-Mail Forum: Family@faerie-arts.com
Design: this "branch" provides design and technical support for the overall ZMS physical plant. The planning process works on a consensus basis in conjunction within ZMS structure.
Construction: this "branch" provides support for individual projects ranging from new construction of buildings, to the completion of existing buildings, and ongoing renovation and maintenance of infrastructure.
Building Fund: Dedicated fund for building, infrastructure, and permaculture projects. Donors may specify donations toward individual projects or the general Building Fund. The fund is part of the ZMS Treasury, and its treasurer, and is subject to ZMS bylaws.
Meetings: to be held at ZMS as needed. An annual midwinter design meeting is anticipated to address long planning and scheduling/organizing projects for the upcoming building season. Workshops are to be held as needed for design and construction of projects during the April thru October building season.
Officers, Facilitators, Coordinators
Committee Facilitator: to be elected on an annual basis, to facilitate the annual design meeting. Project Coordinators: appointed as needed, empowered with focalizing energy for specific projects. Secretary: as needed.
